Dual Enrollment
Available to students at participating high schools, our dual enrollment programs offer the unique opportunity to take college courses taught by UM-Flint faculty and get a head start on the university experience.

Genesee Early College Student
Students who have completed their high school education through Genesee Early College are invited to apply as first-year students at UM-Flint.

Non-Candidate for Degree
Students who’ve already earned a bachelor’s degree and/or are interested in taking a few classes for personal enrichment, continuing education, or teacher’s certification are considered NCFD students.

Out-of-State
Students living outside of Michigan have options for pursuing their U-M degrees. Out-of-state students can receive a special tuition rate when they pursue a fully online degree program at UM-Flint.

Veterans
UM-Flint welcomes veterans and active-duty service members. Student veterans are welcome to apply. To support a successful transition to university and civilian life, we offer dedicated services via our Student Veterans Resource Center. This center offers assistance with accessing education benefits and connecting to campus and community resources.
