What We Offer: Wolverine HOPE Brings Together

Office of Educational Opportunity Initiatives
EOI passionately empowers students by providing exceptional academic support, leadership development, and community engagement opportunities in a welcoming atmosphere that nurtures success. With high-quality programs and a holistic approach, it skillfully serves diverse individuals from Flint and its vibrant surrounding areas.

The Center for Gender and Sexuality
At CGS, students will discover a safe space to engage in conversations, foster community, and enhance their understanding of gender and sexuality. Students can develop leadership skills through the Peer Educator Program, access confidential support and resources, and connect with other students at UM-Flint.

The Intercultural Center
The ICC is a welcoming space for the entire campus, highlighting the needs and experiences of students from all cultures, backgrounds and ethnic groups. Guided by the principles of belonging, advocacy, and education, the ICC hosts and co-sponsors various campus events throughout the year. These events aim to foster dialogue across differences and promote social justice education.
These centers provide safe, inclusive spaces and multicultural programming for all students. We support you from your first campus visit to graduation day, helping you make the most of your UM-Flint experience.
