The Certificate is intended primarily for individuals who are interested in learning more advanced concepts in these areas after completion of an MBA or equivalent degree.

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Accounting provides professionals in accounting fields with an advanced understanding of concepts and essential skills of today’s accounting practices.

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Finance is designed to prepare students for professional positions requiring graduate-level degrees in finance and assists students in preparing for professional finance certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the Federal Financial Management Certificate Program (FFMCP), and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Organizational Leadership

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Organizational Leadership will be valuable to students who are seeking to improve their management and leadership skills and deepen their understanding of management and leadership processes. It is relevant for students who are or will be in managerial or leadership positions. The certificate focuses on leadership issues from a variety of perspectives. Specifically, courses examine major frameworks and contemporary issues in leadership, address how leaders effectively make decisions and resolve conflict through negotiating with others, and explore the role of a leader in bringing about organizational change.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Post-Master’s Certificate is open to qualified graduates with an MBA or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited institution.
The Organizational Leadership Post-Master’s Certificate is open to qualified graduates with an MSN or DNP.

To be considered for admission, submit an online application below. Other materials can be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to the Office of Graduate Programs, 251 Thompson Library.

  • $55 application fee (non-refundable)
  • Official MBA or equivalent program transcripts. Please read our full transcript policy for more information.
  • For any degree completed at a non-US institution, transcripts must be submitted for an internal credential review. Read the following for instructions on how to submit your transcripts for review..
  • If English is not your native language, and you are not from an exempt country, you must demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Statement of Purpose: a one-page, typed response to the following question: “What are your career objectives and how will a Post-Master’s Graduate Certificate contribute to accomplishing these goals?”
  • Résumé, including all professional and educational experience
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Students from abroad must submit additional documentation.

This program is a certificate program. Admitted students will not be able to obtain a student (F-1) visa to pursue this degree. Other nonimmigrant visa holders currently in the United States please contact the Center for Global Engagement at [email protected].
