UM-Flint IM Sports: Free Agent Instructions
To Sign Up as a Free Agent
You can list yourself as a free agent in as many divisions within a league as you’d like. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams.
- First, make sure you have a valid IMLeagues account by following the steps above.
- Browse the UM-Flint IMLeagues homepage to find the sport offering you are interested in.
- Within the offering, click “Join as Free Agent”.
- Expand the sport league offerings and select all the divisions you are willing to play in.
- Complete the “Additional Information About Yourself” section. This will help the captain get to know you prior to them messaging or selecting you to participate on their team.
- Complete your sign-up by clicking “Post Listing”.
To Pick Up a Free Agent
- Team Captains: Log into your IMLeagues account and click on your team.
- Once you are on your team page, under “Captain” select “Available Free Agents”.
- Once you select the Free Agent you want to add, click “Invite To Team”.
- Once a Free Agent is sent an invitation, they must accept the invitation to be added to your team.
