Who qualifies for a refund?

Anyone canceling their month-to-month or annual membership due to the pool closure is eligible for a refund. The refund amount will be calculated from the requested cancellation date (June 26 or July 26) through your membership end date.

I have a perpetual membership. Why am I not eligible for a refund?

The pool closure date is the monthly deduction date for perpetual memberships. If you wish to cancel your membership or move your rental locker, please fill out this form by June 15 for a June 26 cancellation date OR by July 15 for a July 26 cancellation date. 

How do I receive my refund?

After you fill out the Membership & Locker Service Change Request form, our Member Services Manager will contact you directly to discuss further details about your refund. All refunds will be issued in the form of payment from the original transaction. 

• Note: Per university policy, all transactions originally paid for with cash will be refunded via a check issued by U-M.

Can’t I go to the front desk to get my refund?

Per university policy, our front desk staff cannot issue refunds on the spot. However, they will gladly guide you through filling out the Membership/Locker Service Change Request form.
