Part of Term Frequently Asked Questions

Courses may be offered in a 14, 10 or 7 week format. Within each semester there are multiple “Parts of Term” that vary in length, have different start and end dates with deadlines specific to them. 

Yes, in Browse Classes you can search for classes by part of term by clicking in the Part of Term field and making a selection. All classes offered in the selected part of term will display.

You can see start and end dates by selecting the Title of the course to open Class Details then view the Instructor/Meeting Times.

In SIS, select Register for Classes. In Search Criteria, select a part of term. Once you have located the course you would like to register for, click Add. The course will appear in the Summary section, click Submit to register.

In View Registration, in the Look up a Schedule tab see the column titled Part of Term. You can expand the column to see the full title. Each part of term has its own start and end dates.
