Black Student Union
The Black Student Union works to promote cultural awareness and community service and encourage a positive educational environment. The organization works hard to accomplish this through social and educational events while providing a space where awareness of resources, social justice, and a sense of community are the priorities.

Campus Activities Board
Campus Activities Board (CAB) at UM-Flint is an organization where the most creative, outgoing, and fun-loving students come together to bring the best entertainment to campus. CAB is a key player in university programming as well as a growing tool for its members. It prides itself in being a great way for students to get experience in skills for any future career.

Club Sports
Club Sports are university-sponsored student-run organizations that compete against other colleges and universities in various state, regional, and national contests.

College Panhellenic Association
The College Panhellenic Association (CPA) is the governing council for three of the sororities on campus. The CPA is the campus-based council under the umbrella organization, National Panhellenic Conference. CPA’s purpose is to develop and maintain women’s fraternity life and interfraternity relations at a high level of accomplishment and, in doing so, to consider the goals and ideals of member groups, promote superior scholarship, maintain high social and moral standards, act in accordance with the National Panhellenic Conference Unanimous Agreements, and act in accordance with the rules established by the CPA.

Interfraternity Council
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing council for its three fraternities on campus. The specific purposes of the IFC are to: establish and administer rules governing recruitment and general oversight of fraternities; encourage scholastic achievement, cooperation, and harmony of its members; promote the best interest UM-Flint; promote and maintain university spirit and loyalty that will transcend an individual fraternity’s ambitions, and provide services and additional support to its member chapters.

Michigan Times
The Michigan Times and M-Times online is the student-run newspaper and website of The University of Michigan-Flint. The print edition is published on the first Monday of every month during the fall and winter semesters. The online edition is updated weekly. The monthly circulation is 1,000 copies distributed through the UM-Flint campus and the surrounding downtown area.

National Pan-Hellenic Council
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the coordinating body of nine historically African American, international Greek-lettered fraternities and sororities. The nine NPHC organizations are sometimes collectively referred to as the “Divine Nine” NPHC UC-Flint recognizes members from UM-Flint, Kettering University, Baker College, and Mott Community College.

Qua Magazine
Qua is UM-Flint’s biannual student-run literary and fine arts magazine. Currently, we accept submissions for fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and art. Our mission is to promote the work of writers and artists in Flint and surrounding areas. Qua Literary & Fine Arts Magazine favors lucid and robust writing that captures the attention and provokes reflection. Manuscripts should be rich in substance, accessible to a varied audience, and original submissions with relevancy, clarity, and a head-turning style are likely to be chosen.

Student Government 
Student Government (SG) is a group of diverse students that are all about making positive, forward, and impactful changes on campus. As student representatives, we want to give a chance for every walk of life on campus to come out and join us at a variety of events, as well as include anyone and everyone in each of these events. They are here to empower student success, and their goal is to serve you, the students. In order to advocate for you, we need to hear your issues and concerns.
