About the Flint Student Research Symposium

The Flint Student Research Symposium (FSRS) provides the unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students at UM-Flint and Kettering University to share their faculty-mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities. This collaborative event showcases multi-disciplinary research from the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and applied sciences. Students present their scholarly work either in 15-minute oral presentations, hour-long poster sessions, demonstrations, or performances. Additionally, student presenters have the opportunity to have their manuscripts published in the annual conference proceedings.

The first ever FSRS will take place next Fall, 2016.
